The subtleties are what set it apart:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Page loads appear in the lower left corner, as needed&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;URL’s are given a visual hierarchy so the domain is prominent&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Tab movements are given nice easing&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;The overall lack of UI “chrome”&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Combing search with the address field&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;That last aspect is probably my favorite, and took me a second to discover. I frequently use the keyboard shortcut Command + L (Mac) to enter a new URL, and can now access search the same way.
